It is only in recent years that I've started heading to the Olympic Peninsula for some seriously cool hiking. It takes a while to get there but I dare say it is well worth the effort. These were taken at Royal Basin and Imperial Tarn during a backpacking trip in August where the flowers were abundant and the nights were still warm. It's an amazing place.
