As we near the end of summer - OK, it's already the end of September but on some days it hangs on a while longer - it's time to look back at a season of great hikes. Most recently, a beautiful backpacking trip to Chain Lakes and Goat Lake in the Mount Baker Wilderness to that mountain I love and which in turn loves to hide among the clouds.
