Monkey Business

It's no secret: I love monkeys. They're smart, beautiful and unpredictable and so much fun to photograph. Some live in the jungle - the orangutan was the most difficult one to capture on film - but many have unfortunately had their environments changed by human encroachment and have become habituated to living in cities. They are incredibly adaptable and at times so much like us that it's a wonder they don't kick us out of our habitats for a change. It might just be a matter of time...

In these days of temporary isolation, being the spring of 2020, I look back with great fondness on the primates of travels past and look forward to many more encounters. I won't be writing a whole lot in this particular post because I think the pictures really speak for themselves. So enjoy!
